Client brief

TASS, a flagship under the WHO Emergency Preparedness and Response (WHO EPR) initiative, focuses on gathering surveillance data across Africa to strengthen disease prevention efforts. To better address the diverse health challenges of various regions and communities, TASS tailors its approaches to disease prevention using localized data. Global Health Strategies (GHS) subcontracted our studio to create a brand identity that would clearly convey this mission.

Our approach

We developed a logo that ingeniously captures TASS’s mission through a pattern of curved lines resembling fingerprints. Each fingerprint symbolizes the unique data gathered from different regions, emphasizing TASS’s focus on individualized approaches to disease prevention. This fingerprint motif runs throughout the brand identity, reflecting the flagship’s role in gathering region-specific data to enhance health surveillance. The identity is further unified with a sleek color palette and modern typography, ensuring a cohesive and contemporary brand presence.
